Ooooh I think you're going to like this one...
I'll start with the usual rambling, then go on with an exciting announcement !!!
So, lately, I've been doing great. I've not been able to say that for a while, but I'm getting used to less food, and I find more tricks. Yay !! So that's about the weight loss part.
Now, my breast cancer walk team and I are organizing a cocktail night at one of my friends' place, on April 25th. It's going to be my first cocktail party in 2009, and I'm really excited ! I'm working on a new line of anklets, that will be introduce on that very day. I'm currently supply-shopping, to see if I can find exactly what I want. I may let you take a peek before the actual day, but they won't be up for sale until April 25th.
Another activity we're organising is a garage sale on May 30th and 31rst, postponed to the next week-end if raining. We're trying to get as much stuff as we can from everyone around us to make a couple hundred dollars out of this event, along with the chocolates we're selling right now as a lower-scale fund-raising activity.
I'm also preparing a bowling night. It will take place on August 21rst, more details to come.
Sooooooooooooooooo Here's what you all have been waiting for since the beginning ;

Well done for getting back on track!
Sounds like you do some great work for the breast cancer charity... you could "walk/travel to england" lol, no ermmmm, i cant think of any good ideas right now but i am sure i will. Keep up the good work, and i will definitely be looking at your anklets when they go on sale - can hardly wait! :o)
First of all - LOVE the earrings! Second - I want to know when your anklets are up because I have an addiction to anklets! Lol. And lastly - hmm...fundraising idea: How about at your garage sale, you add a bake sale to that. Bake some cookies, muffins, cupcakes, breads, brownies - give out some drinks (you can get a case of water and even sell them 50 cents a pop - that will get you a great profit! Also - you could sell your jewelry at the garage sale too - like a craft sale in your own yard!!
You'll have to keep us all updated on how it all goes!!

You could sell cookies at the garage sale.
You could go to your downtown area and ask for donations and sell raffle ticket at the yard sale too
I'm a new follower through reader and think your jewelry is just delightful. Always love to find another fun Etsy shop to browse...

I signed up for blog feeds on my Google Reader which works the best since I don't have my own blog yet. Love your shop and creations. Glad I found you!

You could try a car wash - around here they go over well.
For a fundraiser-set up a donation site on your blog and other blogs to promote the event and your participation. For a good cause you will be surprised at how quickly the word will spread-you should also set up a facebook page-track your results and efforts to get yourself to the finish line. Good luck with it.
Is that the reason for the Pink earrings?
Gorgeous earrings! Best of luck in the fundraiser. I walked the 3-day last year, and we held a garage sale with donated items from friends and family. It raised $700!!! You should totally auction some of your jewelry off. I've seen it done on other sites with a "chip-in" widget. Every X amount of dollars donated is an entry to win...
sell drinks at the garage sale - sodas and bottled water - sometimes the drinks do better than the other stuff ;)
new follower :)
What a great cause! These earrings are gorgeous:) I signed up to follow:) Thanks!

You could post a link to your donation linky on craigslist and fellow bloggers sites. It will def help you raise money!!
I love, love, love the earrings! As far as a fundraising idea...hmm...I have gotten flyers from TNT fireworks. They offer fundraising events. Then of course there are always bake sales, car washes, and raffles. Good luck!

If you can get permission from some local businesses and some free PR from your local newspaper/radio/TV stations, you could do things like:
Carrying out bags at the grocery store for donations; washing cars; high heeled boot collection (like fireman boot collections); panhandle day at local mc donalds, etc.
Good luck - it's a worthy cause!

I am now following you and I am also having my own first giveaway as well. As far as fundraising goes, maybe have a garage sale with some friends and host it at your house, ask a ten dollar donation for the spot, and sell ice cold sealed water that you pick up from the local supermarket.

I can't wait till the garage sale! I'm sooo coming. My suggestion is: that I man one of your tables for you guys. Theirs nothing more encouraging then a friend to lend a hand. I'll be 31 weeks into my pregnancy so it'll be a plus lol. I'll be bringing lots of stuff to sell for your tables as well. Love ya Beautiful. Your doing an awesome job! From your favorite Mama.

What if you designed a pair of earrings (like these pretty pink ones) and had a special sale of many pairs, with a percentage going towards the walk??

Or, do you know any musician friends who could do a fundraising concert?
Thank you for a great giveaway! I would love to win. How about a day or week pass at the local gym?Thank you!

The earrings are fab! Why not sell them as a fundraiser?
I know if you contacted a local nursery you could get alot of help arranging a plant sell. It is Spring we had done that before and made a fortune for our charity.

I'm following you! Check with your local Lions or Jaycees clubs. Sometimes they need help for events and will pay other charity groups to do things like take tickets, do cleanup, etc.
